Aaah, it sounded like you had just put them on, got two turns and lost
brakes. Green fade is the gasses in the brake pads coming out during the
first few heat cycles and getting between the pad and rotor. It feels like
there is nothing happening, even though there's pedal feel. I usually take a
street car out on the highway when there's no traffic and ride the brakes for
a mile or so, with the other foot on the gas. Be careful, you may come to a
stop sign at the end of an off ramp and find you have no brakes!
