Actually, our OSP rules currently say "The vehicle must have originally
  been produced for and registered for street use." So a car that's been
  a dedicated track car for decades is still ok, as long as you can
  come up with an old registration and plates that go with it.

Personally, I'd rather have OSP be for cars that are still registered
  and let the non-streetable cars go into the prepared and modified 
  classes. There's currently no place that a daily driver that's more
  than street prepared can have a chance. 

Oh well.
