The 70 mph speed you quote was for the fastest car in ANY class, including A Mod. The revision to top speeds changed that. The rules now restrict only the fastest Stock and SP cars to the "low 60s." After that revision, you could have AM cars doing 100 mph and still be in compliance with the rules. Before, you were supposed to limit A Mod to 70 mph. Jay |
