Bruce makes a good point. Do we know whether autocross "incidents" have
resulted in airbag deployment? If they have, what about injuries to
occupants with full face helmets?
I autocross an open Mod car so for it I NEED a full face helmet. However,
like many others who need/want a full face helmet for non airbag cars they
"normally" drive, I also want to be able to use the same helmet in my own
or other people's airbag cars. Two helmets is not an "attractive" idea
unless that is what it takes for reasonable safety.
FYI I believe in safety . . . I spent 29 years as a Product Safety Engineer.
