First, read the Technical Bulletins section of the February
Fastrack. Next, determine if the part in question is a "standard
factory part" (is it in the factory parts fiche?) that can be
installed using "standard factory procedures" with no additional
modifications to the part or car. If it isn't you're no better
off than you were before. If it is, next write a letter or email
to the SEB pointing out that this rules change, which is
explicitly intended to allow welded-on SFCs on certain ESP cars,
appears to make your intended modifications legal.
