The ES100 is much lighter than the Azenis, and the sidewall is less
stiff. Those traits make for a more comfortable ride over crappy roads
in the NE.
The dealbreaker for me with the Azenis was the noise when worn. At
about half depth, they started humming above 35mph. It just got louder
as they worn down.
