I just don't understand why everyone is so worried about shock costs and
technology. Recurring costs of using soft, fragile DOT race tires easily
outstrip the cost of a good set of shocks that you may use for several years.
Tire budgets are exceeding $6,000/annually for anyone who is serious, $10k+
tire budgets are not really that unusual for multiple drivers running many
events. Why is nobody concerned about this?
In a single word: paranoia.
Everyone thinks there's this special voodoo magic going on inside that tiny
