Your V700's should be able to handle the days "road racing" without any
problem. I have done many driving schools and open track days at Willow
Springs here in So Cal. in my BSP 240Z on 245-45-16 Kuhmos. 20 mins. is about
the limit per session. What may well suffer are the brakes and engine oil
pressure. Brake fade can be scary, when you come of track after a session
remember DO NOT to put on the handbrake. Handbrake on localizes the heat and
can warp discs and especially drums in a big hurry. If your crx has no oil
cooler you should keep an eye on the oil pressure. After 15 mins or so of
continuous high rpm the oil will froth and start to cavitate, the oil pump
can just pick up mostly air and the only oiling is by the crankshaft flinging
it up the bores. Nasty. No oil pressure gauge? Not good. If the engine sound
starts to get loud and starts to rattle pull off at once and let it cool down
before going out again. With Kuhmos you will be fine, it's the rest of the
car that may not be able to handle it. Have fun but try not to get to carried
away with the excitement, because it will be exciting. Enjoy
