The Kumhos should work just fine. In my experience, track driving is
actually somewhat _easier_ on tires, as the corners are all so much farther
apart. This gives your tires a chance to cool a bit. Also in my experience,
it's harder on just about every other part of the car. Brakes in particular.
You'll need to bleed them after the event, and you may even burn the grease
out of the calipers, causing them to bind and freeze up. (happened to me
last year in my Civic Si at Gingerman Raceway)
Anyway, how badly you wear the Kumhos depends upon a lot of things, just
like in autocross... number of laps, track surface and condition,
temperature/weather, car, and driving style, among others. If you go out
there and drive like a maniac, you'll wear out the tires. Use this as an
opportunity to practice lines, looking ahead, and smoothness, and you should
do pretty well.
Have fun!
