However, a FF with only one driver at a Pro generally doesn't need a
cooling fan. One with two drivers  will have a second person to deal with a
jumper battery which powers the on board or separate cooling fan. Some FF's
like the one that Alan Dahl mentioned (Sirota, Raymond, Garry) runs both a
fan and a big battery and still is down near minimum weight. Won a LOT of
Pro Solos! Pro Solos grids and event staff are very friendly to Mods and
Prepareds and have adjusted the system over the years to meet our needs
while still keeping the event moving.

I have run Pros where the temperature was over 100 degrees (Little Rock)
with no problems with the car. It was nice to have "hot slicks" at the
start of each run:-)
