We drove the Shelby for many years, just as it liked. Katie & Maggy were
raised in it, with the admonishment to watch for black & white cars. :-)
It got kinda cranky in its old age and we really couldn't afford to keep
it and maintain it. Plus, it was getting too valuable to drive around
anymore. Believe me, it was a very difficult decision to make, to sell
it. The only problem with the sale was I think we sold it to the wrong
buyer...a week later the father of one of the others called and offered
twice with the purchaser had bid, but we had already committed to the
sale. The son of the rich dad had a real passion for the car...it's a
long story. And I really felt bad about that part of it.
