Here in the 'Bama region, the SSS announces at the driver's meeting that
if you're driving in the non-racing area of the site faster than he can
walk, you're in violation.  I can't recall if he mentioned a warning or
expulsion, but it is an enforcable standard, at least, and doesn't
require a speed gun.

Chuck (if the SSS got out and chased some cones once in a while, we
