>Since my goal is to get the ultimate WET grip (I also want to use these as

I have Kumho 712's on my Legacy GT and I am very, very pleased with
their wet performance, particularly hydroplaning resistance. I took
mine out during a torrential rainstorm, you know the kind, wipers and
high still don't cut it, and found that althought the steering was
getting light around 75mph, I was passing cars like there was no
tomorrow. I did a panic stop on a straight exit ramp and had no
problems, and did a quick entrance ramp, again with no problems. To
top it off, on the way back to my house I found an approximately 3-5"
deep puddle on a curve and ran through that at about 25mph and it did
not understeer.
Overall I am impressed with the tire.
