Read carefully, the first graf of section 13:
Cars NOT SPECIFICALLY LISTED in stock category must have been produced in
quantities of at least 1,000 in a 12-month period to be entered in the Stock
category.
IOW, if it is listed in the class, it is legal in the class, even if they
only made one of 'em.
Many many eons ago, sometime in the neolithic I think, I was on a Nationals
protest committee and that very question was raised in a protest. Before we
decided the matter, I asked the chair of the SEB if the rule was intended to
govern cars presently listed, or to govern the listing of new additions. He
said new additions, those now listed are grandfathered. Decision: car was
legal on that count.
(Back then there were a lot of specialty cars made in limited quantity that
were on the original class lists when they were first created -- most have
since been deleted simply because no one campaigns them any more).
