[] When the timer runs out, both
[] drivers are expected to be fully staged. 3-5 seconds later, the tree
comes
[] down. If you are not fully staged when the tree starts it decent, you get
[] a DNF .
Remember that when the shot clock runs out and you hear the buzzer
that the starter actually starts the tree, which is the difference you sometimes
see in the timing of the lights. Also at Peru because we had several DNF's
sometimes the starter would wait 6-7 seconds to activate the tree or even
have to hold and then do a manual start.
