Such a protest would normally be filed by the Chief of Timing and
Scoring, not by a competitor.

And it's usually due to lack of contrast rather than numbers slightly
too small.

As someone who works frequently in T&S at big events, PLEASE make sure
your numbers are highly readable.  3.7 isn't just a good idea, it's the
law! :-)
