OK, this time I actually have a serious question. I have an idea in my head
for rerouting my intake system before the air filter (stock in the stock
airbox). Obviously this would bump me out of stock class, but where would I
land? Basically I'd just add some ducting to draw air from a cooler area
such as under the car or from the front grill. No air cooling type of
mechanism like an Iceman - just drawing from a different area. Oh, and
normal aspiration - no turbo. I've been reading over the SP rules, but I
can't figure out if a mod like this is legal in SP or not. Some far more
extensive mods than what I have in mind are legal for SP, but I know that
doesn't necessarily mean anything. If a change like this will land me in
modified I doubt I'll want to do it. :)
