No, your experience won't be hurt. The philosophy of the McKamey Schools is
to learn techniques, not how to drive your specific car faster (though
hopefully this will happen.)
In some cases in a learning enviornment, it's almost better to use tires
that don't stick as well, because it teaches you to feel what the car is
doing. It also can amplify what you are doing right, versus what you are
doing wrong
