At Tucson Sunday I tried my new G-force tires.
Tucson is very good air force concrete (i.e., abrasive with no weather damage).
D stock 1992 240 SX SE, 2800#, rear drive, 6x15 rims, 225x50x15 BFG's G Force.
Ended up with (so far) 45# in front, and 40# in back. Tire temps with limited
camber (-1') in front and rear were (outside->inside) 114->109->102 front,
110->108->107 rear.
Weather was around 84' that day, sunny.
The outside half of the pseudo-"tread" was pretty much erased after 16 runs (8
for me, 8 for Glenda).
Adding to the data base.
The local Neon driver (of the 75mph fame at San Diego) tried Kumhos
(205x50x14) for the first time and was not impressed. He has been using BFG
R-1's. He was not impressed by about 2.5 seconds...... :-)
