Well, I finally got somewhere with Bruce today. I think.
I talked at great length to him and got a sob story about his shipper having
my tires and being closed for a few days and consequently not shipping
anything out via UPS.
So I called his shipper, ShipRite in Loveland Ohio, and apparently my tires
went out yesterday via UPS (at least now someone besides Bruce has actually
seen them, I know because the shipper commented that I worked at a pharmacy
and was having them shipped to me at work). They should arrive here next
Tuesday. I'm still not gonna hold my breath though. Although now at least
I do have a UPS tracking number and can supposedly check the whereabouts of
my tires through UPS's automated phone tracking system.
That's just for my two 205/55-14s though. My two 225/50-14s are still
awaiting "release from the ship". Whatever that means.
I talked to him about your tires also and apparently you should have them
already since he had to "spring for 2 day shipping" from Glendale California
(oops!!) to you in Glendale Arizona. Is this true?
The struggle continues. Fight the good fight.
See you on course.

Take a ton of bolt and steel
A whole lotta sweat, a set of wheels.....On the Speedway.
The flag is down, pistons pound
Plenty of engines ripping around......On the Speedway.
