A company called DeLan out of MA makes a great vertical hitch for both
Miata's and RX-7's.  Somewhere in Central MA, can't remember right now...

Most of the "R" owners just cut a slot in the skirt for the hitch's
receiver. I think most of the R's at last years Nationals had trailer
hitches and cutout portion of the rear skirt. Other than a trailer how else
are you going to get your race tires to an event? There's no way I can get
all four in/on my Miata.<G>
