You are right, (including about the Tiger) but do these cars
really belong with the production cars? The Mazdas, Z cars,
and Fieros are all about even in capabilities and production
numbers.. The ground pounding V8 Tigers are truly a limited
production vehicle, as were the Vixen and Lotii.

Not really, but neither were a lot of the other cars mentioned
when in stock form. I'm not sure of which particular Lotus that
has that engine, but I sure haven't seen many 70hp motors in
AP!! I would almost bet that engine could be developed, within
the scope of the "P" rules, to produce a lot more than that.

Now there's a production car with sufficient numbers both produced
and imported to not be classified as limited production. I doubt that
motor can be developed to the point where it's hp to weight ratio
would even come close to a fully legal prepped rotary, for example.
The Fiat 850's could help the Fieros bring up the rear!!
