Hi Mark:

The Sports Racers are "overweight" (your opinion) because they could not 
support a class of their own and were pushed into BM.  The Atlantics are 
"bastardized" because the GCR contained a class called Formula A.  Once the 
GCR changed, there was reluctance to screw those that had elected to build 
or buy Formula A cars.

It is not everyone's opinion that this "tenet" is the reason for the success.

If so, then work on that, not on undermining one of the very tenets of the 
most successful Modified class we have -- true GCR conformance.
