Julian, Your "Sleeping Policemen" are called "speed bumps" here in the States and they can be real trouble to negotiate without crushing the headers in my lowered Tiger. Here in Seattle, we are now getting new 'traffic calming' measures at intersections: the road circle. To be legal, one must drive around the circle to make a left turn, however, that is usually impossible in any vehicle larger than an Alpine. Jim |
