My vintage 1973 Smiths catalogs list that unit, but they do not define
which car it fits... the next number up the line, CE3112/00, fits BMC cars
so I suspect that may also be a BMC unit, but from either an earlier year or
for a special colour scheme.

May be CE or CTExxxx/yy style.
Some of us have Smiths catalogs.
Looks to me pre 60 with the Made in England as later clocks have Made in
UK
And who knows, it might now be one of higher value than an Alpine clock.
