It wasn't the fins, it was fitted with the rare option usually only fitted to
Aussie
models (one that Ian missed out on in this months feature). The whistle is
designed to
scare off Kangaroos, so you don't collide with them. Very advanced for its
day, nowadays
called 'Shu-Roo' and sold mostly through accessory stores. See:
