Tim,
27 6 60 is the date of the transmission casting. June 27th 1960. It would be a
Series I. I'd need to measure a drive shaft to be sure, but I believe the OD
shaft
is 4" shorter in length... Anyone? Finding the Series V OD switch arrangement
would be like finding hen's teeth. In my opinion, you should stick with the
Series
I switch. I might be interested in this OD unit. Let me know a price. I really
don't need it, but I'm going to be rebuilding several this winter and it may be
useful. If someone else really wants it badly, please give them first shot.
See you at Invasion II Tim! We've got a great event in the making for next June!
Looks like Invasion III is going to take place in Reading Pennsylvania. Nothing
confirmed yet, but it could be based around an ALL SUNBEAM hill climb event! Jan
and I are hoping that we can have our Harrington Alpine race car ready by then.
