Hi Tim,
have you not fitted it yet !
1 - I will measure one and confirm the length for you.
2 - the casting date makes it a series 1 gearbox.
3 - the 25/ indicates it is a 25% unit, correct for an Alpine.
4 - Your existing switch and relay should work fine. Make sure that you
route the live feed through the cut out switch on top of the gearbox to
ensure it is disconnected when not in 3rd or 4th gear. Come back to me
if this is not clear.
