Jim,
Any roller lifter/follower Ive seen requires that the lifter
protrude out of its bores (at all times), to allow an inter-connecting
strut that connects adjacent lifters, and prevents the rollers from
rotating.
The alpine lifters are always below thier bores, so this method
is not possible. the lifters would have to be lengthened by
over an inch, and the pushrod would hit the rim of the lifter.
Ive abandoned thoughts of roller lifters on alpines, but not roller rockers.
