Ed,
I have found the Pertronix people very approachable when you have
problems with their product. Even though I have experienced timing
problems, they are willing to listen to customers which does not happen
very often these days. I still like their product which uses the Hall
Effect of magnetism vs the light trigger system of other manufacturers. FWIW
