To clear my dual side draft Webers, I went to a .70 Girling master - and
that included removing the stock spacer, and fabricating a shorter plunger.
It works great. I first did it with a booster - a 1.9:1 version (stock is
closer to 3.0:1, and SS's one is 2.3:1). Even with that lower boost, the
pedal was too soft. Now it's fine.
What is the Wilwood one? Who is Wilwood? I'd think about going up to .75
if it fit fine.
The .70 Girling one has the resevoir attached as all one piece. The cap is
close to the back Weber. When the cap is on, there is plenty of room and
no hitting at all. It is just tricky to pull the cap out from between the
Weber and the MC.
