Hi all,
The DCO (dreaded current owner: me) used anti-sqeal goo on the backs of the
brake pads to try to quiet them (no shims were fitted). This has made the
situation *much* worse!
The goo appears to be some kind of contact adhesive. Does anyone know how to
get the pads out now - they appear to be stuck fast to the pistons. Can I
dissolve the 'goo', does it soften with heat, or do I have to pull the
calipers?
Cheers,
Paul.
