Hi all,
Well as usual, the 6-Pack list comes through with great advice!=C2=A0 You'v=
e convinced me - I'm going to convert to an electric pump.=C2=A0 It'll be a=
late January project most likely, as the car is currently in storage due t=
o an overfilled garage here at home (but will be selling my '97 M3 soon I h=
ope, and then the TR6 can come home).
By the way - I called Moss today to tell them about the issue with the pump=
and my desire to return it, and they gave me a full refund (including refu=
nd of the shipping charge) no questions asked, and didn't even require me t=
o send the defective unit back to them (largely because it has of course ha=
d gasoline passing through it and therefore could be troublesome to ship).=
=C2=A0 Now that's great service!!
Again, your quick feedback is much appreciated - happy holidays all!
Regards,Tim

=C2=A0
Tim,
I know this issue has been talked about many times in the past but my advic=
e is to replace the stock pump with a Facet or similar pump mounted close t=
o the fuel tank. Remove the mechanical pump and replace with a blocking pla=
te.=20
I mounted a fuel regulator where the pump was on all my 3 Triumphs. The 4 w=
as done first well over 15 years ago and no problems. The 3 followed a year=
later and when I did my 72 6 it got the same treatment.=20
All 3 have been flawless. No leaks, drips or errors! And when I turn on the=
ignition, the carbs are primed by the time I pull out the choke!

case. =C2=A0

So, I then bought one of the "OE reproduction" pumps from Moss.=C2=A0 Looke=

Question for all of you - can you recommend a company who does high-quality=
