Rick,
The lower control arm needs to be vertical with respect to the ground. This
will give you access to the inner nuts. With the weight of the car supported
with a jack stands on the frame, I use a section of 2" x 4" to support the
control arm under the trunnion so that the arm is about vertical. Greg Perry
