It does look like a nice car. The only minor thing I notice is that the
emissions system seems to have been neutered as has the dizzy retard but that
is all easily fixable if you consider the current state broken..

Probably fetch at least half of what it cost to restore..

Hi,

Every now and then, I look at the various Triumph "offerings" on eBay.
There's a very nice looking TR6 for sale, ironically about 35 miles from
my house. eBay item # 320049716929

It looks like a very nice car, but there's some details that I find
interesting considering the reported cost of the restoration...

Just as an "exercise", look at the pix and see if you can spot some of the
same stuff that jumped out at me.

Don't get me wrong - it looks like a nice car, but if I was buying the car
as a concours candidate, there's a lot of "deductions". In fact, a tough
VTR judging might put the car quite a bit below 350 points. Yikes.

But there's one detail that bug me. I'll give a hint, it's related to
the engine.

Whattaya think?

p.s. alright.... I look at the TRiumphs on eBay all the time. It's a good
thing the bank is empty and the garage has no room left. :-)
