Thanks to all of you.
I got the belt on, but it was a bitch. I used my jack with a block of wood,
and was able to raise the motor maybe 1/2", enough to clear the crank
pulley, but not enough to clear the pulley just behind the fan. I tried to
see if the crank would move forward or back, it didn't (I guess the thrust
washers are good :) ). In the end I was able to jam the belt past the pulley
w/ a bigt screwdriver and a BAH. HAH!
It is always something.
