Hi,
I tried "tapping" the stub axles from a pile of uprights that I had. My
success quotient as about 10%. I then brought a couple to the machinist
who placed them on a 30 ton press. No go, they would not seperate.
After 30 years, those stub are pretty much "married" to the upright.
