I was only aware of the reflectors being on 1971 TR6's. Maybe some dealers
started early or put them on 1970 TR6's that they still had in stock in 1971.
I was not aware that the TR6 was ever raised due to the headlights being to
low. The bumper height was changed in '74 (mid?) to accomodate the bumper
height requirements. I also thought that this was the same time that the
minimum headlight height was changed. It's easier to see in the changes to the
MGB's. The "rubber bumper" B's did have to raise both the bumpers and the
headlights. So MG just raised the entire car and I believe that change was
made in 1974.
If I am wrong about the TR6 being raised for headlight height, I'll just have
to chalk that one up to "learnin'" I suppose.
