Rear reflectors

This has been bothering me for a few months. I had 2 new TR6 in 1970-71. Now I
have been trying to redo a 71 and it has rear reflectors, but I also saw them
on a 70. What was the first year they were installed by the dealers in the
states? It was also the year they had to raise the front end to pass the
headlight height. I think spacers were installed in the springs.
