Joe---Anti-roll bar makers generally recommend that the TR6 use a 7/8"
front bar with a 3/4" rear bar. If you want to stay with the stock 5/8"
front bar, then follow the directions of Kastner in his Comp Prep Manal
and use the 9/16" rear bar.

Thick bars should only affect the ride when one wheel on an axle hits a
bump or depression. This increases the spring rate of the wheel still on
the ground. Otherwise the ride quality should not change, since the
bar(s) merely rotate in their bushings as both wheels on an axle move up
and down.

It is "safer" to have the front bar appreciably thicker than the rear,
but the best balance can be achieved when they are closer to the same
size. Just be prepared to "catch it" when driving aggressively in road
turn transitions.
