Mark. We re-routed the hose coming out of the valve cover right into the
emissions canister. I would guess if this were clogged then this would cause
too much pressure, hence the leaky filler cap. I'm going to vent the
pressure back to the carbs the way it was initially set up.
Here's one I forgot to ask; my tachometer has a tendency to race, meaning it
will fly up to 6,000 and then return to 2500 or 3000 (where it should be) at
times. Another friend (whom I have a little more confidence in) suggested
that the tach cable may simply need lubrication. I would like to give this a
shot before I go buy another tachometer. Ho should I go about this?
