Is it possible to manufacture vented rotors (the sandwich kind
that is common on most every automobile) that still fit the stock TR6
calipers?
Rick,
1988 Toyota Cressida rotors will fit the TR hub if the center hole is bored out
to 3.125". However they do not fit "stock" calipers. If you want to use TR
calipers, you need to fabricate 3/8" spacers (with recesses for the O-rings)
that fit between the two caliper "halves". There is a photo of just such a
setup on page 246 of Kas Kasner's "Triumph Preparation Handbook".
