Don---Try rapping on the yoke in one direction to give you a little bit of clearance in the opposite circlip groove. I have always had to apply heat to free up the cups. Especially those that have been in there for many years. Anything from a propane torch to oxy/acetylane, for the really stubborn ones. I use a long-nose cener punch to work out the cups. Others have reported success in using sockets and a vise. Polishing out the yoke bores before installing new units should make it easier "the next time". Dick |
