I believe a starter replacement is required. 30-40% of the time when the
ignition is engaged, the starter spins, but the bendix does not move the
starter gear into the ring on the flywheel. Turn the key off, turn the key to
start and the starter engages and the engine turns over and starts immediately.
New battery...new alternator...is it the starter? Could it be a bad solenoid
If I need a replacement, TRF has them back ordered from 4-6weeks. Is there
another source?
