Jonmac,
I, for one, purchased my TR6 for what it is---very stock/original, clean,
and good-running (thanks in part to the list). Yes, it's almost 30 years old
and doesn't handle like today's offerings, but I don't expect it to----it's
just
a heck of a lot of fun. I'm not a hot-rodder, just a guy who likes TR6s. I
appreciate originality, but respect the motorheads who want to hop up the stock
versions. I think our common goal is to keep the marque alive and keep 'em on
the road and race track.
For me personally, it's a hobby. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't care
about roller rockers and poly bushings, I just enjoy the list, input from guys
like Dick Taylor and Jonmac, and differing viewpoints.
Regards,
Vic Snively
