Just picked up from the machine shop my flywheel on which a new starter ring
gear was installed. Now I am beginning to wonder if the ring gear was put on
facing the correct direction!?! On the ring gear one side has a slight bevel
cut into the gear. Should this side ( bevel side) face the clutch side of the
flywheel or the front side which faces forward toward the engine??? Mine faces
the starter.
