In the process of an engine rebuild I decided to repaint my starter and
solenoid. On removing the solenoid from the starter the plunger separated
from its sleeeve. No problem except that I would like to clean the internal
parts (plunger,spring/housing) but notice that it appears the plunger is
lubricated. Any ideas as to what type of lube should be used on reassembly?
