Bert---Engine oil has been used to firm up the lever shocks. (I think Kastner used 40W) but this might be too stiff for street use, if used straight. Just about anything that modifies the shock oil to make it more viscous should restore some life to it. I put in an ounce of STP about 15 years ago, and the shocks feel "just right" to me. One of these days I'll go with the tube conversion. Dick |
