Peter --
There should be a spare 12V terminal (at least on my
74) on the fuse box mounted on the driver's side
fender. This terminal is next to one that has a white
wire connected to it.
I ran the + Pertronix wire down along the brake
booster vacuum hose and connected the wire to the fuse
box terminal. No modification necessary to the
Pertronix wire.
