No confusion, Al---Use the lock-down bolt that gets the adjustment bolt head in the optimum position. If you find that this bolt head still ends up on the "wrong" side, it still should be open to receive a 7/16" socket/ratchet. Most fine timing adjustments can be done using the elongated slot where this plate bolts to the block. (I use an Allen head bolt on a long handled "T" wrench for ease) Dick |
